MEMBERSHIP IN LEADERSNOW INTERNATIONAL

Phase One of Membership: "The LeadersNow Program"

During the first phase of membership in LeadersNow International, with the assistance of a Chapter Coordinator, girls join together with their friends and/or classmates to take part in "The LeadersNow Program."  Using "The LeadersNow Program," girls complete approximately 20 lessons in character development, leadership, style, and poise. Girls learn how to strengthen their character, develop the qualities of good leadership, polish their appearance, and become young women who practice good manners. Learning these things will help them to be successful in whatever they do in life.

Membership in Phase One of Membership in LeadersNow International includes the following:

• "The LeadersNow Program" workbook.
• A LeadersNow International embroidered polo shirt.
• A bi-monthly e-newsletter that includes tips on character, leadership, style, and poise.
• An official record of all hours of service hours is recorded and maintained.
• Letters of recommendation and verification of service hours are provided, upon request, when applying for jobs or continuing your education.
• Training and support for the Chapter Coordinator.
• Certificate of Achievement upon completion of the first phase of membership.

Phase Two of Membership:  Service, Career Exploration, and Mentoring 

Once a girl has successfully completed "The LEADERSNOW Program" and has received a Certificate of Achievement, she is eligible to take part in Phase Two of Membership in LeadersNow International. The Phase Two Members, with the assistance of a Chapter Coordinator, put the leadership skills learned in "The LeadersNow Program" into practice by engage in service projects, career exploration activities, and mentoring.

Membership in Phase Two of Membership in LeadersNow International includes the following:

• Opportunities to engage in service projects and career exploration activities.
• Mentoring:  Members will set personal goals for each school year and will receive the assistance and support of their Chapter Coordinator in achieving their goals.  Members are also encouraged to become a positive influence in the lives of younger girls.
• A bi-monthly e-newsletter from LeadersNow International.
• An official record of all hours of service is maintained for each member.  Letters of recommendation and verification of service hours are provided, upon request, when applying for jobs or continuing your education.
• Training and support for the Chapter Coordinator.
• Certificate of Excellence is awarded at the completion of each school year.
